About us
LinC Manningham Inc. connects volunteers from local churches with people in need.
Many of these needs cannot be met by existing agencies through lack of resources. We know many caring people who want to help.
We are ordinary people doing ordinary things and making an extraordinary difference in our community.
Our network of churches works with service agencies to support the Manningham community.
Referrals can be made to the LinC office by health professionals, social workers, day centres, families or individuals. Needs are assessed by our LinC Manningham Referral Centre (see below).
Trained volunteers from local churches are called on to assist where appropriate.

Who do we support?
We support people in the Manningham community with needs, particularly:
- single parents
- families in need
- people living alone
- young people
- the elderly
- people with disabilities
- families affected by domestic violence
Confidentiality is assured.
Our services
Transport – We offer transport for those who have difficulty getting to medical appointments when we have volunteers available. A donation would be appreciated.
Emergency food – We offer a fortnightly food hamper to those in need (assessed by our staff) for a period of three months. These include items selected by our clients from our pantry of donated foods (also fresh vegetables when available) and a voucher from a local supermarket.
LinC CALL – We reach out to build enduring friendships with lonely neighbours who feel isolated from the community. Trained volunteers offer friendship and support through weekly phone/online contact with matched neighbours.
It’s a simple, but very valuable service, providing human connection and friendship.
