LinC Whitehorse

What is LinC Whitehorse?

LinC Whitehorse is a group of volunteers from various local Christian churches, who assist people with practical short or medium-term needs.

LinC = Love in the name of Christ

Based within the City of Whitehorse in Melbourne’s East, we cover the suburbs of Box Hill, Blackburn, Burwood, Nunawading, Mitcham, Forest Hill, Surrey Hills, Mont Albert and Vermont.

How does LinC operate?

Individuals or agencies on behalf of a person or family in need contact our Referral Call Centre. The Centre staff then assess whether LinC can provide the assistance requested. If so, the staff will arrange one or more suitable volunteers from a member church to help the person or family at a mutually acceptable time.

We respect the client’s confidentiality at all times. All volunteers have police checks.

LinC services are free of charge.
